Let’s Book A Time On Your Calendar Right Now

I knew I needed an estate plan and even worked with an attorney to produce 25 videos around estate and probate. I just never could find the time to actually get it done.

After we finished Shontay Bridges, Esq., LL.M Firm’s video shoot, I knew I had to get it done and soon. I told her that and she said, “Let’s pull out our calendars and get a date set right now”. That changed my life.

If you don’t know my story, I was abandoned by my mother when i was 18 months old and I met my father behind the prison walls where he later passed after serving 19 years of a 20 year sentence. I lived in the YWCA and a homeless shelter with my 9 month old baby. I still managed to get my G.E.D., earn my master’s and build my first home before I was 30.

If you think that you’ll be saving a few dollars by using forms found on the internet or in a DIY book to prepare your estate planning documents, then your family will be in for a rude awakening when they learn that part or all of your will, trust, or medical or financial power of attorney isn't legally valid or won't work as you had anticipated.

Thousands of dollars will then be spent by your loved ones working with a qualified estate planning attorney after the fact to fix your mistakes.
