Starting A Business Is Hard

2.5 years ago I met an attorney at an event that changed the trajectory of my life and business.

When I first made the decision to work exclusively with attorneys folks thought I was crazy. Why attorneys?

Because I work best with people that expect only the best and pay attention to details. I enjoy working with smart attorneys that want to scale their firms so that they can help more people.

I knew it would be tough but the support, push and genuine care from this man helped me stay focused and persistent.

He would reach out to me to make sure we had lunch appointments. He listened intently, said encouraging words and made introductions.

If I called him and asked him to speak at an event it was ‘yes’. An interview? Yes. Record videos for the Firm? Yes. Can I use you as a reference? Yes.

He’s the kindest attorney I know and when you meet with him, you feel like you’re the only one in the room.

Starting a business is hard.

Starting a business that disrupts an industry is harder.

Starting a business and being the only minority and the only woman in my entire industry well…you get the idea.

Randy Kessler played a huge part in it and I am so honored to call him MY friend, encourager and mentor.
